Labor's strategy to offer solutions to problems it already caused reached its logical conclusion this week when it offered to provide Australians with $1 billion worth of free therapy sessions.
Government of the blob, by the blob for the blob. I definitely need therapy. Oh that's right, it's limited to five sessions a year and the psych charges $250 an hour. Five sessions is simply not enough to overcome the trauma of having to watch Albo lisp, grovel and stonewall his way through another Giveaway Griftathon, bribing us all with our own money. Great work mate, as always. Wouldn't creating a happy, healthy and productive society where we weren't dependent on the state be a better and cheaper option than bribing us with a bunch of overpaid psychs. A lot of them are duds who do far more harm than good, don't think otherwise for a second.
I think Albo would like to call himself a psyche but not overpaid. If one wants to go to a good psyche he/she must be prepared to pay the bill. Psyches work hard and they need to have somewhere to rest between clients. That is why they have a nice comfy couch.
I have $27k of student debt. I therefore stand to benefit $5k if Albo gets in.
I'm surprised anyone is ever swayed by this type of free sh*t before an election. Are people really this unprincipled? I'm a Christian who believes in some measure of separation from the world, so I don't vote, but if I did this bribe surely wouldn't sway me.
I feel sick just considering changing voting intention based on it. Do people have no shame?
Then again, given the two party system is really a one party facade and both of them hate you and your liberties, I can't really blame people voting on the basis of handouts. May as well get some free sh*t!
It's certainly a formula that seems to work on many who have become so used to free stuff to soothe their feelings and compensate for their inadequacies...
As depressing as a majority Labor government might be, an even grimmer prospect is a minority Labor government propped up by the teal independents. That scenario would only accelerate Australia’s descent into a de-industrialised, chaotic experiment in soft socialism—an open-air asylum run by unhinged ideologues, enforcing a warped social agenda while fanatically clinging to their long-since debunked climate apocalypse.
I definitely have no desire to vote for, or liking or respect for the Teal independants, they have never even advertised their policies. My question is who gave them a name and how many polititians actually support them?
When China does a Japan zombie economy in the future, we will truly be on trouble with reduced exports and government spending up on unemployment. I better start growing my popcorn, and get a comfy chair for the Albo comedy show 😃
Surely Australians can figure out that Albo and his promises are a farce. I know that Labor runs plenty of illegal businesses (CFMEU being just one() so it makes sense (maybe even cents) to cast Labor out in the May 2025 elections.
We certainly wouldn’t need any of these measures if the government actually cared about the citizens of this country. If Australia is to be saved we need to exit the UN, WHO Paris and Lima agreements etc etc. Basically do a Trump!!!
Ha ha! 👏 good pun, that & anal-I'se 😉 One does note that any State sponsored mental health professionals would surely not violate the sanctity of therapy at least! Whew, all those TAFE qualified Mental Health specialists wouldn't report one for WrongThink to their employer... without a bounty. 🤑
Albo (and his supercilious grin) is a master at convincing the Australian population that the Labor Party is the best Party to be running Australia. Dream on Labor. One Nation Party where Australia is for Australians should be getting your vote, followed by Libertarians,People First, Katters Australia Party, Central Alliance and last but not least the United Australia Party

You can be quite sure that if you take up Labors offer of free therapy sessions there would be a bite to its tail, benefits going to Labor.
