Great interview Freddo 👍 i think Alex knows very well who the LINO’s but is keeping that close to his chest! They are all in Turnbulls pocket.

It certainly is a disaster unfolding... there is some damage that may not be able to be undone... I live down the road from Alex's electorate office... and he would likely agree with me that the migration influx is so apparent, just walking down the street, or catching a bus into town... I cannot imagine how much worse it is going to become.

We have some real work to do, and it will take a concerted effort. I alternate between hoping for an asteroid, or dreaming of a Double Dissolution election within a year.

I thought Alex Antic had lost his seat but last time I looked he hadn’t. It was the colon that I missed. I hope he is right. He was very outspoken in Outsiders on Sunday.

Great interview. If the Liberals have a look at what has happened it is to be hoped that they take notice. They didn’t in 2022. I think the conclusions will be the same,

This comments on the Liberal Party might be true for SA, but NSW seems to me to diabolical. Slowly but sure they ensure that Conservatives either get pushed out, put in un-winnable spots, or sidelined for leadership positions.

Another fantastic interview Fred! If only we could clone Alex….

In my opinion until the Liberals get rid of factions and read their own We Believe statement often (just as Alex said) and become conservative again nothing much will change. Just look at how badly they treated Hollie Hughes and Gerard Rennick.

I’ve heard some commentators saying more women are needed in the Liberal Party, I don’t agree with that either, how about we just have the best person for the job regardless of gender.

It’s quite easy to see from the outside. Because whilst the electorate moved as a whole to the right, the libnats moved to the left. There was a virtual Wipeout of the Greens due mainly to their radical left wing and fundamentally communistic agenda, a gradual awakening by former liberals previously hoodwinked by the climate change poncy scheme of the teals resulted in closely fought contests and the ascension of minor libertarian parties filling the void left by the libnats when they became a centre leftist party.

Whilst ever the libnats are dominated by small ‘l’ liberals, bed wetters and moderate and progressive wokists they will continue to loose and we’ll all wake up sometime owing nothing and being woefully unhappy.

The Liberal party has become Labor lite. Gerrard Rennick was dropped down the senate ticket for not being woke enough. Even Dutton’s intervention could not save him. So far adrift from the vision of Menzies.

Well, Exhibit #1: Dud-dud Dutton.

He lost his seat, and deservedly so.

Gut the party and rebuild from the ground up. I’ve been voting minor party for years now.

I know my vote eventually rolls up to a major, but until the minors unite under one banner that has a chance of placing first or second after first-round counting, then we’ll keep getting Labor govts because disgusted right-leaning voters are done supporting the Libs.

The Liberals lost my vote when Dutton said the first thing he'd do when elected is call Netanyahu to shore up relations with Israel. The first thing!

I'm as opposed to mass immigration as anyone on the "far right" and for all the usual reasons, but I'm disgusted by what Israel is doing in Gaza and the West Bank. Apart from the sheer horror of it all, we in the liberal west will be expected to absorb even more refugees from the Middle East so that Israel can finally become the secure ethno-state that it was always intended to be.

A lot of my right-leaning friends and contacts feel the same way. From what I've heard, most of them also voted libertarian and other minor parties. I don't know if people of our peculiar bent made much of a difference at the polls on Saturday, but I just wanted to toss that into the fray.

So why did all those patriotic hard working types vote Labor?

I am a little older than you. All my life I have read stuff about how governments were in debt, spending too much so we will all be ruined in the future. Well several futures have come and gone and no ruin yet occured.
